Air freight rates
A rate is meaningless until the chargeable weight is fixed. Enter the lane and the cargo: we compute what it will be rated on, which carriers can fly it, and how long it should take.
No live rate feed yet, so this page will not show you a price. Chargeable weight, routing and transit below are computed for real. The number itself comes back from a person — we would rather send you to a human for a day longer than put a plausible-looking $/kg on screen that nobody can stand behind.

Six components. A quote that gives you one all-in number is hiding five of them.
Air freight charge
Per chargeable kilo, against a weight breakThe per-kilo rate steps DOWN as the shipment gets heavier — typical breaks are −45, +45, +100, +300, +500 and +1000 kg. A 44 kg shipment can cost more per kilo than a 46 kg one, which is why rounding a shipment up into the next break sometimes lowers the total bill.
Minimum charge
Per shipmentA floor per air waybill. Below a certain weight you pay the floor regardless of the per-kilo rate, so very small shipments are dominated by it.
Fuel surcharge (MYC)
Per chargeable kiloSet by the carrier, revised periodically, and passed through as its own line. It is not marked up and not folded into the freight rate.
Security surcharge (MSC)
Per chargeable kiloCovers screening at origin. Also a pass-through line.
Handling and terminal charges
Per shipment or per kiloOrigin build-up, terminal handling at each end, and documentation. Varies by station rather than by carrier.
Special handling
Per shipmentDangerous goods, temperature control, live animals, valuables and outsize each carry their own fee, and each needs acceptance confirmed for the specific station.
Where our margin sits
Rates shown to you include our margin over the carrier buy rate. The margin falls as the plan tier rises, so the same lane prices better on a higher plan. Fuel and security surcharges are passed straight through.

Frequently asked
How is an air freight rate quoted?
Per chargeable kilo against a weight break, plus a minimum charge, plus fuel and security surcharges, plus handling at each end. The all-in number only means something once the chargeable weight is fixed, which is why a quote starts with dimensions rather than with a price.
Why can a heavier shipment cost less?
Because the per-kilo rate steps down at weight breaks. Adding a few kilos to cross a break can lower the total. It is one of the few places in freight where buying more is genuinely cheaper.
Do the rates I see include your margin?
Yes. Rates shown to a customer include our margin over the carrier buy rate, and the margin falls as the plan tier rises — that is how the platform is funded alongside the subscription. Fuel and security surcharges are always passed through as separate lines, never marked up quietly. See pricing for the tiers.
Why is there no rate shown on this page yet?
Because we do not have a live rate feed yet, and a made-up number is worse than no number — quote a customer off it and you lose real money. Chargeable weight, routing and transit are computed and shown for real; the price comes back from a person until the carrier and marketplace integration is live.
